“Almunajem” owns and manages –with a healthy penetration- numerous cold stores in different parts of the kingdom, covering the whole country on a capacity level totaling up to 200 thousand square meters with a quantity of goods imported up to 350 thousand tons per year of various branded products, which cover about 10%-30% of the volume of the domestic consumption, depending on the product category. 

In addition, the Company owns a number of refrigeration industry facilities and food production plants, beside sophisticated distribution and supply chain infrastructures and a large number of casual dining restaurants in all over the kingdom.

Human Resources

Almunajem’s Human Capital consists of about 15000 skilled employees from around the world. Among sales, production, marketing and logistical support specialists in addition to engineers, food technologists, quality controllers and administrators, they are selected according to strict recruitment criteria, and undergo specialized training courses (on the job as well as external) on a regular basis after joining the company.

Quality Assurance

One of our key objectives is to consistently maintain quality and safety of the products and services through strict adherence to quality standards. Our Quality Assurance Departments carry out effective measures on a regular basis to secure quality in all activities we are running in accordance with ISO & HACCP standards.

Information Technology

As we aim to provide effective services to our customers, and interact efficiently with our suppliers, Almunajem has invested in the latest and most advanced IT systems – Oracle- E-Business suite for ERP solution (Enterprise Resources Planning).

This technology ensures proper integration of various processes and activities of the company and its branches. It also contains a comprehensive set of application models that offer complete enterprise-wide solutions which extend from the front office to the back office operational applications to platform infrastructure. In addition, the Company’s subsidiaries have implemented the technological devices and services for their van sales representatives and retail distributors.

Marketing Researches

Our market research capabilities in all businesses we won are considered to be one of the key strength areas. We carry out sophisticated marketing tools at all business segments and categories to secure market leadership for our brands, understand consumer thoughts and desires and to help us assessing our market shares. For every brand, our Marketing people conduct certain marketing plans and carry out promotional campaigns to support the sales, along with performing statistical analyses based on retail audit research to gain an edge over competitors.
